Introduction: 

Heathfield Antiques started in 1988 with one section in the Holt Antique Centre then rapidly grew to three sections.  In 1990, our family business left the Centre and opened a shop at 15 Chapel Yard . Finding that people naturally migrated to our workshop we then closed the shop.
The workshop/warehouse started in a double garage then expanded to a shared warehouse in Melton Constable.  From there we moved into two large sheds at Thaxters Yard in Holt, and then expanding still to the The Old Lemonade Factory in Hempstead Road, Holt, and on the 30th August 2002 we moved to larger premises all on one level at Candlestick Lane, Thornage Road, Holt. Whilst remaining in candlestick lane Holt The business changed ownership to Daniel Preston, in October 2008, who had worked for Heathfield Antiques for a total of 10 Years.

We have always specialized in restoring original antique pine but as the business developed we went on to; reproduction pine, made to order tables, furniture restoration, distressed  paint effects, reproduction oak furniture and sales of new pine furniture.
All this growth has taken place with minimal advertising, we have relied almost completely on word of mouth and personal recommendation.  We believe that we offer a quality, personal service to all our customers.  If any problems do arise we do our utmost to put things right.  You have our personal guarantee.  With this philosophy, we have found our customer service pledge has been the cause of the rapid expansion of Heathfield Antiques. We have supplied furniture for 27 National Trust holiday cottages in East Anglia as well as carrying out furniture restoration for the Trust. Other clients are many local businesses.

Original Antique furniture
Repairs and replacements are undertaken with authentic materials whenever possible.  All original items are stripped in Hot Caustic solution and after refurbishment hand wax finished.  Distressed paint finishes can be applied if required.

Reproduction furniture
We supply only quality reproduction furniture at reasonable prices.  The items can be supplied   in the white ("I.T.W". or " In The White" is a trade term denoting furniture in the raw timber state prior to any finishing.), please deduct 10% from the list price if you require unfinished.

Stained, waxed or sealed finishes. We Match as far as possible finishes & colours to your requirements.

For standard paint effect finishes and distressed paint effects add 10%. For eggshell paint effects add 15%.

Returns Policy

Satisfaction guaranteed – Heathfield Antiques offer a full refund policy for all goods purchased from us over the internet or by telephone, subject to the terms and conditions stated below:-

UNWANTED GOODS - If for any reason you are not satisfied with the goods that you have received, please contact us regarding a refund within 7 days of the receipt of the goods. This 7 day cancellation period begins the "day after" the goods have been received. We will arrange collection but we do request that carriage and collection are paid for by you in full prior to collection - if you do not do so a deduction will be made from the refund to cover the cost of collecting the goods. You will receive a full refund within 30 days of cancellation. { Please note there is a minimum handling/administration charge of £30 on all returns this is in addition to carriage and collection costs). 'This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer'

DAMAGED GOODS - We advise you to inspect your goods immediately on delivery and not to sign for or accept any goods that are damaged on inspection. However we allow all our customers a "reasonable time" to reject faulty goods for a full refund, this "reasonable time" is defined as "7 days" from the receipt of goods.
